solve: A rectangular garden is 12m long and 18m wide find its area and perimeter also find if fencing cost 75 rupees per meter find the total cost of fencing
solution:
given: length equals 12 m and width equals 18 m therefore,
area of garden equals
formula: length*width
12*18 equals 216 m square
perimeter formula : 2*(length+width)
2×(12+18)= 60m
Cost of fencing= cost×perimeter of garden
=75×60
=4500 rupees
