About Lina
Hi! I'm a Carnegie Mellon graduate with a passion for helping students build confidence in math. I tutor pre-algebra, algebra, and pre-calculus, and I believe learning should be engaging, encouraging, and personalized to each student's needs.
My goal is to help students understand the "why" behind mathematical concepts rather than simply memorizing formulas. I enjoy connecting math to real-world situations so it feels practical, approachable, and even fun. Whether you're preparing for a test, completing homework, or strengthening your math foundation, I'm here to support you every step of the way.
