About Ping
Hello! I’m from Beijing, China, and I hold a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University. I have been teaching Chinese in Madison, WI, for over two years and love sharing my language and culture with students of all ages.
I am a certified Ma Liping Chinese HCC teacher and have completed the Chinese language teacher training program organized by the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and the China Overseas Chinese Education Foundation. Every month, I host a Chinese storytime at the Sequoya Library, which is very popular with children and parents alike.
My Mandarin is clear and standard, and I bring energy, patience, and creativity to every lesson. I design fun, interactive, and engaging activities that help students not only learn Chinese but also explore Chinese culture firsthand. My goal is to spark curiosity, inspire a love of learning, and guide my students on an exciting journey in the Chinese language and culture.
