About Poorna
Poornashree is an Indian classical dancer. Keen interest in dance and music from childhood, she is trained in Kuchipudi, Bharathnatyam and Kathak.
With a commitment towards propagation of Indian classical dance form, she has given performances at Mysuru dasara utsava, Bengaluru Ganeshotsava, Antarashtriya Cinimotsava, Nada habba and so on and has recieved Karnataka Vikasa Ratna Prashasti, Swatantrotsava prashasti and so on.

Kuchipudi is a beautiful and expressive Indian classical dance form that can be learned at any age, including as an adult. Techniques like dancing on rim of the plate with a pitcher full of water on head is a special attraction.
