About Ayaka

With 7 years of experience as a Japanese tutor and a background as a provisional psychologist, I am passionate about helping students find their best learning style. I am graduating with Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology at University of Melbourne, and I specialise in accommodating learning differences and using students' unique strengths and interests to help them reach their full potential. I'd love to collaborate with you to make Japanese learning an enjoyable and personalised experience!

WARNING! No sneezing allowed in her class. Kidding aside. Ayaka is a great teacher as her lessons keeps you interested and they are always fun. She is definitely friendly, not that strict, and will make you comfortable in learning Japanese. She will focus on your weakness(es) and will give you tips and tricks on how to improve it. About the lesson

My lesson is based on textbooks (Genki 1,2 or minnano nihongo 1,2), if you are beginner/intermediate. I also use Tobira if you are upper intermediate/advanced.

With extensive experiences supporting students with Specific Learning Disabilities (Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and Dyscalculia), I will ensure to accommodate any learning differences you may have.
