About Tanaya

Ciao! I'm Tanaya, and I'm passionate about the Italian language and culture.
I hold an A1.2 certification from Deccan College, Pune, and spent a year studying in Italy, where I got to experience the language, food, art, and the Italian way of life firsthand. Living there taught me not just the grammar and vocabulary, but how to actually communicate and connect with people in Italian.
I specialize in teaching complete beginners and elementary learners (A1-A1.2 level). I understand what it's like to start from zero - I've been there myself! Whether you're learning Italian for travel, work, personal interest, or just because you love Italian movies and music, I'm here to make the journey enjoyable and practical.
My teaching style is relaxed and conversational. I focus on helping you build confidence in speaking and understanding Italian in real-life situations, not just textbook exercises. I'm best suited for students who are just starting out or at basic conversational level.
Important: I focus exclusively on beginner and elementary Italian (A1-A1.2). If you're looking for advanced grammar, business Italian, intermediate conversation practice, or B1+ level instruction, I recommend finding a tutor who specializes in those areas. About the lesson

This class is designed specifically for complete beginners and elementary learners (A1-A1.2 level).
My lessons focus on practical, everyday Italian - the kind you'll actually use when traveling, watching Italian films, or chatting with native speakers.

What we'll cover:
Conversational Italian from day one (starting with basic greetings and simple phrases)
Essential beginner grammar explained simply (present tense, basic sentence structure)
Real-life scenarios for beginners (ordering food, introducing yourself, asking for directions)
Italian culture and customs
Pronunciation and listening practice
Building confidence to speak, even if you know zero Italian right now
