About Rusty

My name is Rahul Bhandari and I am a musician/guitarist living in New Delhi. I have been playing the instrument for the past 12 years and specialize in various aspects like funk, jazz, rock, pop, and metal. I have completed all grades of Rockschool Guitar.

I have been working as a guitar instructor for 6+ years. I have experience in teaching students of all age groups whether they be 7 years of age, 15 years of age, 20 years of age, and even 40 years of age.

My services include session guitar recording and guitar instruction for beginners as well as intermediate players.

About the lesson

With the advent of online teaching, learning music from various online resources has become very common. One can now go on YouTube and watch an unlimited number of lessons on a given topic. But will there be any area for individualistic growth there?

That's where I come in. One-on-one lessons can help in boosting your individualistic growth and can help you achieve your musical goals sooner.

I have been teaching Guitar and Music Theory for 6+ years and have been learning for the past 12 years. My ability lies in assessing a student's capability and structuring a class according to their personal needs.

Beginner-level classes include:

1. Elements of Music
2. Chords and Scales
3. Techniques like Slides, Hammers, Pull-offs
4. Melodic and Rhythmic Dictation/Recall
5. Reading Music (Tabs)

Intermediate level classes include:

1. Elements of Music Theories
2. Chords and Scales
3. Stylistic Studies
4. Improvisation and Interpretation
5. Techniques like Vibratos, Bends, Chicken Picking, Syncopation
6. Special Focus on Phrasings in Improvisation
7. Reading Music (Staff Notation)
