About Josh
As a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, I understand not just how to play guitar, but how to use it to write songs, perform confidently, and develop your own unique sound.
Whether you’re picking up a guitar for the first time or looking to sharpen your skills, I’m passionate about helping students build confidence while having fun.
I teach the way I learned—by playing the songs that made me fall in love with guitar in the first place. Every lesson is personalized around your goals and musical interests, whether that’s learning your favorite songs, improving technique, understanding music theory, writing original songs, or preparing to perform.
My approach is relaxed, encouraging, and practical. I know most students are balancing school, work, and life, so lessons should be something you look forward to—not another obligation.
We’ll build strong fundamentals like technique, rhythm, ear training, improvisation, and theory, but we’ll always apply them to real music you enjoy playing. My goal is to help you become a confident, creative musician who enjoys picking up the guitar every day.

Throughout my career I’ve played in hard rock, metal, alternative, jazz, indie, and acoustic projects. Today, I am a Modern Country (with an EDM tapestry) recording artist - I write, record and produce all of my own original music.
