About Pauline

Hi! I'm Pauline, a native German speaker with nearly three years of living experience in the United States. During that time, I became fluent in English and developed a deep understanding of both German and American culture, allowing me to explain German in a way that is clear and easy for English speakers to understand.

For almost three years, I worked as an Au Pair and later personal Assistant, where I supported children between three and eighteen years with homework, school assignments, and everyday learning. This experience taught me how to adapt my teaching style to different personalities, learning speeds, and individual needs. I also have experience working with children with ADHD and understand the importance of patience, encouragement, and structured learning.

I am friendly, patient, reliable, and passionate about helping students build confidence. Whether you're learning German for travel, work, school, moving to Germany, or simply for personal interest, I will tailor each lesson to your goals and help you feel comfortable speaking from day one.

About the lesson

Every lesson is personalized to your current level, learning style, and goals. During our first lesson, we'll discuss what you'd like to achieve and create a learning plan that works best for you.

My lessons can include:

As a native German speaker who has lived in the United States for nearly three years, I understand the common challenges English speakers face when learning German. I explain grammar step by step using practical examples and encourage students to speak as much as possible in a relaxed and supportive environment.

My goal is not only to help you improve your German but also to build your confidence so that you can communicate naturally and enjoy the learning process. Every lesson is interactive, encouraging, and adapted to your individual progress.
