According to Glassdoor, the average salary of a full-stack developer in Nigeria is NGN 302,500 per month. Many developers earn as much as NGN 700,000 per month! The software development industry is growing exponentially. Tech companies are always searching for developers, and they are willing to offer high salaries to attract and keep those with the requisite skills. Having tech skills has proven to be one of the surest ways to build wealth. Five of the top ten billionaires on the Forbes list are tech entrepreneurs. Learning a tech skill such as full-stack web development will enable you to secure a high-paying job or build a tech startup. I will teach you all you need to know to build web applications from scratch! After taking this course, you can confidently call yourself a full-stack web developer. First, you will learn how to build web pages with HTML and style them with CSS. Then you will learn how to make those pages respond to user interactions with JavaScript. Finally, you will learn how to make your pages dynamic using PHP and MySQL. You will also learn a common framework for every web technology. You'll learn Bootstrap framework (for CSS), VueJS framework (for JavaScript), and Laravel framework (for Laravel). By the end of the course, you'll have the technical ability and confidence to apply for any web development job. You will also have the skill to develop production-ready web applications. Ask yourself this: What if you could work remotely and did not have to spend countless hours in traffic? What if you could consistently earn six-figure salaries and never worry about job security? What if you could develop a web application and continually reap the benefits for the rest of your life? All of these and more are attainable, but you must be willing to learn first. Do you want to start building a life of success? Then contact me now. I can't wait to hear from you!

  • 1) When did you develop an interest in technology? Could you tell us about your first experience using a computer?

Since I was young, I have always had an interest in technology. When my Aunt was working at a cyber cafe, I followed her to work one time and discovered the app Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing, that was my first experience with a computer, and ever since I've taken advantage of every opportunity to learn and use one.
  • What is the technological evolution that has marked you the most, and what do you believe will be a turning point in this field?

The technological evolution that has marked me the most is Data Science and to a larger extent Artificial Intelligence. Artificial Intelligence has and will continue to advance the way humans work, learn, consume, produce, and earn. I am excited about the opportunities that it holds.
  • Please share more about your specialty, your interest in it, and, more broadly, its importance in the field of technology

I am a professional full-stack web developer. The Internet has been a transformational piece of technology. To take full advantage of this technology, you'll need a website or web app. To build/develop a website or web app, you need a web developer. Currently, having a functional web application can improve any business radically, underscoring its importance.
  • Do so-called 'visionaries', such as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and Mark Zuckerberg inspire you, or do you have other role models?

These visionaries including Elon Musk, Larry Page, etc. do inspire me to improve as a person. That means learning more about business as well as tech and using what have learned to improve the lives of those around me.
  • Could you share an anecdote related to your student days?

During the second semester of my first year in the University, my department (Computer Science) took a C++ programming course taught by our Head of Department. At the end of each class, he'd give us a group programming assignment that we had to submit the next week. In the first couple of classes, the assignments were simple enough that we could just google for the answers. However, he eventually gave us an assignment that we could not find an answer to online. Many of my course mates gave up on the assignment, but I didn't. It took a lot of sleepless nights, multiple online tutorials, and days of trial and error but I eventually taught myself enough C++ to do the assignment. I finished it a period before we were to have the class and I was literally carried into the lecture hall. I felt so honoured and happy!
  • What would you say to someone who is tech averse and uncomfortable in front of a screen?

Technology is mainly designed to make human life easier. I know it can be frustrating when learning how to use a new piece of technology (as with anything else) but that goes away when you do. You don't have to appear before a screen if you don't want to. However, if you ever have to, just imagine you're sitting at the dining table with your family and speaking and acting as you normally would, there is no reason to be uncomfortable because, at the end of the day, you are the one in control.
  • Do you have any other passions - related or unrelated to computers and IT?

Yes. I love teaching, especially, web development topics.
  • What makes you a Superprof (one that artificial intelligence could never replace)?

For me, it's my humanity (empathy, care, understanding, and love). These are things that are difficult for a machine to imitate. I can connect the concepts we are learning to the daily lives of my students as there are some experiences that they have that I can relate to.
