About Amir

During my 20-year career, I have served as a team leader, engineering manager, and principal engineer in both EU and US companies. My roles have often involved upskilling other employees, sometimes instructing groups of over 15 engineers. For three years, I also taught programming to beginners at an educational institution.

I can guide you through all aspects of computer science, including algorithms, data structures, and design patterns. I specialize in teaching the skills essential for a successful software engineering career, covering tech stacks like PHP/Laravel, Python/Django, React, and C/C++. These are technologies I have utilized professionally, completing numerous successful projects.

In addition to programming languages, I will introduce you to essential tools and practices used in the industry, such as Git, DevOps, AWS, Azure, and Docker. My experience in leading projects enables me to teach you about sprint planning, JIRA, Confluence, and other project management software commonly used by developers.

I am passionate about teaching and committed to ensuring you understand all aspects of the subject thoroughly. My goal is to equip you with the knowledge and skills to apply in practice confidently.

About the lesson

In my lessons, I always aim to teach my students the essence of what they are learning and guide them to understand how things work under the hood. I always spend time to understand what approach should be taken based on the student's learning habits and their current experience with the topic of interest.

My first lesson is free of any charges, and I take time to get to know my student and what their aim is to learn from the lessons. I then construct a roadmap which would be personalized for my student. I always encourage my students to ask as many questions as possible, because I think that is what truly makes the lessons most productive. I guide my students to try to analytically and independently think, and encourage them to face challenges in their understanding of whatever concept they are learning. I make sure my students grasp the topic fully, and be able to advance therefrom by studying on their own.

I believe in paving a way for competent future software engineers, that don't take the easy route, but are programmers with a solid understanding of the software engineering principles. I also provide lessons for all levels. Though I committed to help beginners learn more, I can also help programmers at any skill level to excel at their craft.
