About James
Originally from the UK, I have lived in Vancouver since 2017. I have been giving private language lessons for more than five years. I have an honours degree in French and German, which included a semester of studying at university in France. Before I moved to Vancouver, I worked for a French company in London.

I believe that the best way to learn a foreign language is with tuition from a fluent, non-native speaker. English speakers often find French grammar difficult to understand, and native speakers often struggle to explain it. My approach is simple, fun and effective. My lessons encompass reading, listening, writing and speaking and are highly adaptable to the learner's specific needs.
