About Maeva
Salut! My name is Maëva and I'm 27. Back in France, I studied French Literature and, I am now a Language and Art and Humanity university student at the Open University.
I am passionate about languages. I've been traveling around the world for the past 8 years where I truly discovered what it takes to learn a language: understand the people and their cultures. I love arts such as paintings, literature, music and so much more.
I have been tutoring English to French people, mostly to help them prepare for exams.
I am dynamic, organised, flexible and patient.
I love to learn new skills and appreciate good tutoring, so I hope I can also provide some help in your learning.

Whether you need help with your French A-level, are a complete beginner or perhaps you speak some French and simply want to improve, all lessons will be tailored to your needs.
All the same, lessons will start with a short conversation, a little catch up in French as a warm up. Don't worry if you are a beginner, this will come with time.
Then, again depending on your needs, lessons will usually follow up with some exercises.
I firmly believe that learning a new language is all about understanding the culture and the way of life, so in our classes, we will be discussing, interacting and, debating instead of me teaching and you taking notes.
After each lessons, I will give you a (fun) little task to complete before your next lesson.
If you are studying for an exam or a test, I strongly recommend one hour lessons so we can discuss your subjects. Otherwise we can start with 30 minutes lessons and possibly increase the length if you like my methods :)
