About Katie
In addition to having a Master’s degree in Education from Regis University and a Bachelor’s in music performance from the University of Northern Colorado, I’ve been teaching music in various classrooms and studios for the past 20 years. I’m also a mom to many pets, plants, and an awesome tween, and when I’m not teaching, I’m spending my time with them!

Hello!! I’m Katie, and I’ve been singing and performing music for as long as I can remember. One of my greatest joys is sharing what I’ve learned with my students by getting to know their goals and passions and working together to design engaging, fun, and effective lessons. I’m trained in opera but have had a career performing and teaching pop, rock, musical theater, country, and classical music. I also teach beginner guitar, ukulele, and keyboard, and can offer combo classes for students who would like to ultimately be able to sing and play at the same time. I look forward to working with you!
