About Sophia

Hey! I’m Sophia, I’m 26, and I was born and raised in the United States. I’ve been using technology nearly my entire life, and over the years I’ve developed a wide range of skills across both Mac and Windows computers—as well as iPhone and Android devices. I’m self-taught in many areas, as well as formally trained through various jobs I have had.

I have hands-on experience with a variety of software and apps—from social media and messaging platforms to editing programs, productivity tools, and even AI like ChatGPT and Canva. Whether you’re trying to troubleshoot an issue, get comfortable using a new app, or finally understand how your phone and laptop work together, I’m here to help with a calm, supportive approach.

A little more about me... I’ve always been a curious learner, and I chose to grow through real-life experiences—traveling, researching, and diving deep into things that interest me. Outside of tech, I’m passionate about nature, creativity, and expression. I spend my free time outdoors, writing, painting, taking photos, cooking, and working on many projects that still involve the use of technology.

When we work together, you can expect patience, clear explanations, and zero judgment—just support and guidance tailored to your needs. I know tech can feel overwhelming at times, but I truly believe anyone can learn it with the right approach. I’m excited to help you get there!

About the lesson

Need help navigating the tech world? I offer personalized lessons to help you feel more confident using everyday technology—whether you're just getting started or looking to level up your skills. Lessons are tailored to your pace, your goals, and your current level of comfort. We can also use screen sharing for more hands-on and accurate support; so you can follow along in real time and ask questions as you go!
As a bonus, I can consolidate notes and tips that we go through in our lessons as well - this way you can refer to it later as needed!

- Basic computer skills (Mac or Windows)
- iPhone and Android navigation and settings
- Social media apps like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp, Snapchat, and more!
- Popular AI tools like ChatGPT, Canva, and Calendly
- Editing basics for photos and simple video clips
- Microsoft programs (word, powerpoint, excel) and Mac equivalents (pages, numbers, keynote)
- Messaging platforms (SMS texting, WhatsApp, Messenger, etc.)
- Email apps and troubleshooting email issues
- Syncing and connection issues between apps or devices
