About Nerea
I graduated Cum Laude from Metropolitan State University of Denver in Linguistics (USA). In my career, I have taught on 3 continents (France, USA, Canada, & UAE) and over 4,000 students (both children & adults). I fluently speak English, French, and Spanish, as well as some Italian. My extensive experience & research in languages allow me to understand the common mistakes and challenges people face when learning English as a second language. I was a Keynote speaker at the CCFLT Language Conference in 2025 where I presented my published thesis (Language Theft). I have also facilitated numerous workshops, discussions, and classes for English teachers, notably at the CoTesol conference of 2024. I have taught & prepared diverse curricula including: IB IGCSE IELTS TOEIC TOEFL CASAS Steps
