About Jose
I am a native Spanish speaker from Colombia, the country where I grew up, went to college, and where most of my family lives. In my home country not many people speak english, so when foreigners come to visit there are many communication limitations that make it harder to enjoy the cultural experiences.
However, you don't have to be an advanced speaker, you can start simple and improve along the way, but knowing a little from the start goes a long way to connecting with people. That is my main objective, to give you the tools needed to communicate early on and then you decide how far you want to go!

I like to teach conversational Spanish that will allow you to have basic conversations as a beginner, while you build up your vocabulary and knowledge of the language in parallel.
Before we begin, you tell me what is your first and main objective for learning Spanish. For example, you might be traveling to Spanish speaking countries and want to meet people, or work travels take you places and you might have to meet and interact with locals, or maybe you are a language enthusiast and want to expand your language portfolio.
We will learn the rules, pronunciation, and vocabulary as they come up in our lessons, so you can start communicating and using what you learn from day 1.
