About Serena
My name is Serena, and I am from Argentina. I am a Certified English-Spanish Translator and a certified teacher of Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE). I have over three years of experience teaching both online and in-person classes to teens, young adults, and adults from diverse nationalities.
I am passionate about sharing my language and culture, and I truly enjoy the cultural exchange that happens in my lessons. I view each class as a space for mutual learning, where I also learn from my students in every session. I am an enthusiastic, punctual, and patient professional, committed to giving my best in every encounter.

In my lessons, I work on speaking, grammar, reading, listening, and more, always tailoring the content to each student's specific needs and goals.
I enjoy adding a cultural touch to our sessions by exploring topics such as art, history, sports, social life, and cultural differences, focusing on what interests you most. I also like to incorporate interactive and dynamic games to reinforce what we've learned. If desired, I can also provide homework to keep practicing outside of class.
While I teach both Peninsular and Latin American Spanish, I especially enjoy working with the Argentinian variant. It is unique, rich, and full of character, and I love sharing it with my students.
My classes are ideal for those starting from scratch as well as for those who already have some knowledge and wish to practice. For absolute beginners, I use English as an intermediary language to make the process easier.
I believe in finding the perfect balance between fun, approachability, and professionalism. My goal is to help every student feel confident and motivated while reaching their linguistic goals.
