About Tayara
I have over 8 years of experience teaching Guitar to college students, and my lessons are highly personalised and encouraging. I focus on understanding each student’s goals, abilities, and musical preferences to create lessons that are engaging, practical, and enjoyable.
I teach chords, fingerstyle techniques, improvisation, and song practice, while simplifying music theory so students can immediately apply what they learn. I also use backing tracks, recordings, and interactive exercises to make learning dynamic and fun.
Over the past 8 years, I’ve helped students gain confidence, improve technical skills, perform publicly, and develop their own musical voice. My goal is to provide lessons that are not only productive but also inspiring, fostering a lifelong love for Guitar.

I teach guitar using a methodology based on creativity, mentorship, critical thinking, and accountability. Students are encouraged to discover their own style, explore musical genres, and create original music. Lessons are engaging, interactive, and designed to help students grow both technically and artistically.
Mentorship is central to my approach. I provide guidance, constructive feedback, and encouragement to help students build confidence and independence. Critical thinking is integrated by teaching students to analyse songs, apply theory practically, and solve challenges creatively.
Accountability ensures steady progress. Together, we set achievable goals, monitor improvement, and celebrate milestones. Lessons combine exercises, practice, and creative projects tailored to the student’s pace and interests.
I also teach music theory, improvisation, and composition to provide a well-rounded musical foundation. My goal is to cultivate confident, creative, and independent musicians who enjoy learning and performing.
