About Rebecca

I am an experienced and enthusiastic Guitar tutor with 9 years of teaching practice. I teach learners from school, college, and professional backgrounds who want to develop their guitar skills seriously or as a hobby. My teaching philosophy is based on strong fundamentals, consistent practice, and building confidence.

I focus on correct finger techniques, chord transitions, rhythm accuracy, scale exercises, and musical understanding. I also guide students in performance, improvisation, and stage presence. Many of my students have successfully performed in cultural programmes, competitions, and live events.

I maintain a supportive, structured, and motivating learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore their creativity. My goal is to help students build skill, confidence, and a lifelong connection with music.

About the lesson

My Guitar teaching approach focuses on helping students understand music deeply while building strong technical skills. I create a positive and motivating environment where students feel confident to learn at their own pace. Clear communication is important in my classes, and I explain every concept in simple terms to ensure clarity.

I adapt lessons based on each student’s learning style and speed of understanding. Along with Guitar techniques, I teach supporting subjects such as Music Theory, Chord Theory, Rhythm Training, Scale Application, Ear Training, Songwriting fundamentals, and Performance preparation. I use practical song examples and live performance analysis to connect theory with real-life musical situations.

Lessons start with strengthening basics like finger coordination, smooth chord transitions, and rhythm accuracy. As students grow, they learn advanced techniques including fingerstyle patterns, improvisation, lead guitar skills, and expressive phrasing. With structured practice guidance and regular progress evaluation, I help students become confident, skilled, and expressive guitarists.
