About Cassandra
I am a recent graduate from the University of Leeds with a degree in Law with French Law. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at university learning both Law and French, and hope to continue to engage with the language by helping other learners with their French studies. Having travelled to France several times a year growing up after being raised in a bilingual English-French household, I am passionate about all things surrounding the French culture and language. During college, I took part in a French exchange to a town called Valence in the South-East of France, which was an incredible experience and an opportunity to practise speaking French. I have also just recently completed a year abroad in Lyon, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region studying at the Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3 studying the French law, language and culture in more depth. I have also taken several trips to other areas of France including Reims, Verdun, Grenoble, Paris and Marseille.

My teaching method is to concentrate on the basics and making sure they are concrete before working up to the more challenging materials. I tend to focus on grammar as it is a big part of being able to express yourself through speaking and writing accurately, as well as understanding the language through reading and listening.
