About Arya

I am a third-year Arts/Law student at the University of Sydney, currently holding a distinction average. Throughout my studies, I have maintained a high academic standard, consistently receiving High Distinctions across my subjects. I have been awarded multiple university prizes for academic excellence and have also received several scholarships, including one to support my overseas exchange program in Trinity College, Dublin. My strong academic background, combined with my passion for learning and teaching, allows me to support students in achieving their own academic goals with clarity and confidence.

About the lesson

I have 3 years of tutoring experience and offer lessons for students in Years 1 to 10. My approach to tutoring is student-centred, aiming to build confidence and foster a genuine understanding of the subject. I tailor each session to suit the individual needs, learning styles, and goals of my students—whether they need help catching up, extending their knowledge, or preparing for assessments.

My teaching methodology focuses on breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps. I use a mix of visual aids, practice questions, and real-world examples to make learning engaging and relatable. I also encourage active participation and regular revision to reinforce understanding and track progress.

Lessons typically run for 60 minutes, though I am flexible depending on the student's age and concentration span. I ensure each lesson has a clear structure: a warm-up or recap, explanation of new content, guided practice, and a short review to consolidate learning.

My qualifications and experience include three years of tutoring across a range of subjects and year levels, with a strong track record of helping students improve both their academic performance and confidence. I work with students from Year 1 to Year 10, supporting them in subjects such as English, Maths, Humanities, and general study skills.

My lessons are ideal for primary and lower-secondary students who need patient, clear, and supportive guidance in their studies.
