I am a law student with a deep love for English Literature, and I want to share knowledge because I believe learning becomes meaningful when it is passed on with care and clarity. # Message for future students

Hello future students,

I am a law student, but beyond my legal studies, I carry a strong passion for English Literature. I have always believed that literature is more than reading stories and poems — it is a way to understand people, emotions, ideas, and the world around us. That belief is what inspires me to teach.

I want to share my knowledge because I know how powerful good guidance can be. A teacher does not only explain lessons; a teacher builds confidence, curiosity, and the courage to think deeply. I want to be that kind of teacher for you — someone who makes learning simple, interesting, and meaningful.

In my classes, I hope to create a space where you feel comfortable asking questions, expressing your thoughts, and discovering the beauty of English Literature. My aim is not only to help you understand texts, but also to help you enjoy them and grow through them.

I am here to teach with patience, clarity, and dedication, because knowledge becomes more valuable when it is shared.

About the lesson

I teach literature like a friendly guide leading young explorers through a story-world. I combine storytelling, Socratic questioning, and scaffolded skills practice so every child discovers meaning rather than just memorizes facts. Techniques I use include:

Story-first immersion: I open lessons with a short dramatic reading, an image, or a 1–2 minute audio/visual clip to spark curiosity and emotional connection.

Guided discovery: I ask open-ended, age-appropriate questions (What do you notice? Why might the character act this way?) to develop critical thinking and inference skills.

Gradual scaffolding: I break complex tasks (theme analysis, paragraph writing) into small steps with clear models, collaborative practice, and independent application.

Multimodal activities: I use drawing, role-play, simple dramatization, mind-maps, and short creative writing to strengthen comprehension, vocabulary, and expression.

Language building: Short targeted mini-lessons teach grammar or literary terms in context (for example, identifying imagery in a poem then practicing similar lines).

Formative feedback: I give immediate, specific praise and one focused suggestion per student to boost confidence and guide improvement.

Differentiation: I adapt tasks and prompts by reading level and confidence—using sentence starters, visual supports, or extension questions as needed.

Assessment through creation: Instead of tests only, I assess through short projects (storyboards, character journals, small presentations) that show understanding and communication skills.

The usual structure of a class
Each 40–60 minute lesson follows a clear, predictable routine so students feel secure and engaged:

Warm-up (3–5 minutes): A quick, playful language game, picture prompt, or warm-reading to tune attention.

Hook (3–7 minutes): Dramatic reading, short video, or intriguing question that introduces the text’s mood or central conflict.

Guided exploration (10–18 minutes): Read-aloud or shared reading with teacher-led questions; we annotate together, identify key words, and model analytical thinking.

Skill focus mini-lesson (8–12 minutes): Teach one targeted concept (theme, inference, imagery, paragraph structure, punctuation) with an example and guided practice.

Active practice (10–15 minutes): Paired/small-group activity or individual task—role-play, quick-write, storyboard, or comprehension task adapted to ability.

Reflection and feedback (3–5 minutes): Students share one learning point; teacher gives a specific praise and a single next-step tip. Occasionally collect one-minute exit notes to check understanding.

Extension/home practice (optional): A short, creative take-home prompt or reading that reinforces the lesson without being heavy.

For whom the classes are intended
My classes are designed for young learners in primary and secondary school, with flexibility across ages and needs:

Primary (grades 3–5): Emphasis on reading fluency, basic comprehension, vocabulary building, and imaginative response. Activities are highly visual, play-based, and short.

Upper primary/Lower secondary (grades 6–8): Focus on deeper comprehension, introducing literary devices, paragraph writing, and oral presentation skills. Activities include guided annotation and short collaborative projects.

Secondary (grades 9–10): Emphasis on critical analysis, structuring essays, evidence-based answers, and exam practice. Lessons combine close reading with timed-writing drills and revision strategies.

Special groups: Remedial support for children with reading confidence issues, and enrichment sessions for advanced readers who want creative-writing challenges.
