Dear,
My name is Jane and I'm 20 years old. After a scientific baccalaureate with honors, I did a double law/medicine course.
Today I teach elementary and middle school students. I intervene for all types of needs and objectives, all as vast and different as they are! From those who have more or less profound difficulties in the subject, to those who aim for improvement, excellence, through those who have more general concerns in school results and/or their schooling.
As far as methodology is concerned, the courses take place as follows: first we review the course (essential to pass the exercises), we work together on the points that have not been understood, then we do exercises ( of increasing difficulty). The objective is to restore the child's confidence and this requires an UNSTOPPABLE mastery of the course! Generally, for college students, I have the lesson recited at the beginning of each lesson, which allows me to know what has been retained and what has been forgotten/misunderstood. Once the student understands and retains his lesson, the progress is considerable and the student regains self-confidence, which allows him to succeed in the exercises.
Finally, I attach great importance to communication. It is important to exchange between the child and me.
Finally, an environment adapted to the child as for me would be preferable, such as the library or the study rooms.
