About James

I am a legal expert with over five years of professional legal experience that spans lecturing, tutoring, casework and consultancy. I have an LLM in International Law (Merit), a BA Hons in Politics and currently work as a lecturer and tutor for the CILEx accredited Law Training Centre (LTC) in Canterbury, Kent. My role for LTC involves teaching CILEx level 3 tort, criminal, probate, law of wills and practice of company and partnership law and CILEx level 6 employment, contract and practice of company and partnership law.

My teaching approach places great emphasis on coaching and I have created a highly effective learning environment by encouraging students to apply their own professional experience and independent analysis to real-world examples. This approach has proved to be very successful with my students achieving universal pass rates at distinction and merit level in 2016/2017.

The role involves group lectures and tutoring, face to face and remote/Skype tutoring, webinars and writing mock exams. I have also undertaken private tutoring where I support students with exam and essay writing help.

My book has been published entitled ‘An International Humanitarian Organisation: A United Nations of the People’. Publication is by Cambridge Scholar Publishing, succeeding in being reviewed by their panel of social science professors, distinguished scholars, CBE members and both political and legal experts. They were ranked fourth in the ‘World’s Top Ranked Publishers’ list, as compiled by the Library of Social Science, which is the discipline my book is published in. I have also published articles in the Ecologist and the Global Minds in the Global Journal as an expert member.

I am also an international award-winning conjuror, I can help people understand the art of sleight of hand.

I am an experienced and confident public speaker and have given lectures for a number of conferences, universities and organisations. I have intensively studied both law and legal theory (Jurisprudence), which have both been a contribution to my book.
