About Rose

I am an MA Law graduate with over 10 years of tutoring experience. I originally began my tutoring career at Explore Learning and have continued teaching students alongside my professional career.

Having completed an MA in Law incorporating the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL), I understand first-hand the challenges of learning complex legal principles, case law and applying them effectively to problem questions and essays.

I am passionate about making Law accessible and less overwhelming for students. My approach is patient, supportive and adaptable, and I have experience working with students with a range of learning needs, including ADHD and autism.

Alongside my legal education, I also hold a BSc in Pharmacology from the University of Kent, giving me a strong academic background across both law and science. My aim is to help students develop not only their knowledge of Law, but also the confidence, analytical thinking and exam technique needed to succeed.

About the lesson

I offer personalised Law tuition tailored to each student’s individual needs, ability and academic goals. My lessons focus on making legal principles and case law easier to understand while developing the analytical and exam skills needed to achieve higher marks.

I help students with understanding and applying case law, answering problem questions, essay planning and structure, legal analysis and evaluation, and improving exam technique. Rather than simply memorising content, I encourage students to understand how and why legal principles apply and how to use them effectively in an exam.

Lessons are structured around the areas each student finds most challenging, using clear explanations, worked examples, practice questions and past papers. I also have experience supporting students with ADHD and autism and can adapt the pace and structure of lessons to suit different learning styles.

My aim is to make Law feel manageable and to help students become more confident, independent and precise in their written answers.
