About Hannah

I am currently working back home in Northern Ireland as a Legal Professional, having graduated from the University of Manchester with my Bachelors of Law earlier this year. I have always enjoyed teaching and mentoring, having started 5 years ago offering Literacy support to struggling students. I have always been an avid volunteer and love working with people, whether that be in an academic setting or sports coaching!

At University I was able to continue with my interest for teaching through my Vice President role in the Women’s Law society and my role as a Law Mentor. Here I developed my interest in careers and university prep mentoring, helping with personal statement and CV writing.

I have mentored in a range of subjects or skills, especially essay based subjects such as Religious Studies or History but can also help with Junior level French. I love working with people of all age ranges and welcome anyone who may be interested to send me a message with any queries!

About the lesson

Having been involved with tutoring and mentoring students from a wide range of age groups for 5 years, I know the importance of offering supported learning tailored to you!

I have mentored from primary school level right up to first year university Law students and place a heavy focus on personalised learning.

Classes can be anywhere from 30-1 hour based on what time you can spare.

I like to address students’ technique when working together in order to strengthen their reflexes for in person or online exams, whether that be essay writing or critical analysis. Providing this kind of focus I find can be imperative for enhancing a student’s overall learning experience and helping grades as often it isn’t necessarily ability the student is lacking but rather, the technique. Individualised learning suited to your needs and goals offers support rarely found in a classroom setting and may be just what you need for this to click into place!
