About Tomike
I have always loved studying English, and thoroughly enjoyed studying it during secondary school and sixth form.
Also, studying Law during undergrad and at masters level has given me the invaluable opportunity to develop my writing skills in new and interesting ways. I credit my English language and literature exam success to understanding that the subject should not be about feeling that you must interpret a piece of text in the same way as others in your class may interpret it.
What I love about the subject is that people may interpret a piece of text in completely different ways, but it is about developing strong writing skills and critical thinking skills which is what allowed me to be passionate about the subject whilst achieving great grades.
I thoroughly enjoy tutoring, and due to my experience in tutoring GCSE English students, sixth form students and undergrad Law students, I understand the importance of tailoring my teaching style to fit the needs of each student. It has always been important for me to do this as I am passionate about helping students not only achieve their target grade, but exceed it.
In my spare time, I enjoy running a legal blog which provides support to prospective law students, travelling and fiction writing.
