About Karl

Hello, I'm a professional math and latin coach. Sounds nice, but actually only means that I'm a full-time tutor. Every day for more than 10 years, I have been teaching students in private lessons in the subjects of mathematics and Latin, as well as in a few others, such as biology and chemistry. I prepare them for exams, accompany them through the school year or semester and teach you everything they need to know. Abitur preparations and the Fitmachen for SAT and ATC test are also part of my program. Of course, I bring with me a lot of experience, know the material and can predict well which types of tasks are required in exams and exams.

About the lesson

I refrain from bombarding my students with knowledge, but I would rather learn together with them. This means that I will explain some of the material and we will then practice that part together on the basis of appropriate tasks before moving on to the next step. In doing so, I bring a degree of patience sometimes incomprehensible to my fellow human beings and always try to find an explanation that suits my students individually. Even if occasionally several attempts are needed. I understand, if someone does not understand something, that's why you can always ask me the same question again and again. Even outside the lessons, my students are not on their own. They receive assignments from me that they can and should work with between lessons. This way, I make sure that everything that has been worked out will not be forgotten, and that my students will gain confidence in the independent handling of the substance. If you have questions you can also always write me a short. I attach great importance to the right chemistry between the students and me. Therefore, I always arrange a free trial lesson so that both sides can get a sniff before deciding to work together. After all, you spend some time in a couple and a mutual sympathy is essential for the learning success. Meanwhile, I teach all my students online and all over Germany! I communicate with my students via videochat, which means that we see and hear each other live, as in every other private lesson. An interactive whiteboard allows my students to see live what I write or draw for them. Then, of course, these blackboards are saved and my students always have access to them, even on their cell phones. Tasks my students can simply send me as a picture and a few moments later they appear on our common screen. Not only am I more flexible with this kind of classroom, I also have more time to prepare for my students and my students are more flexible too. Some study with me in their free time or between two lectures at the university. In addition, my students will be prepared for later professional life, which is characterized by technology and online meetings. No special technique is needed for this. All my students need is a laptop, PC or tablet without special equipment. With my way of teaching, I have helped many students to succeed in recent years. That is what I enjoy the most: the success of my students
