About Jenny
Hi there My name is Jenny Smith and I am language teacher. My passion is English and I have several years teaching and tutoring second language students. I have a BA Degree and a higher Diploma in Education. My goal is to see you reach your full potential and master the language. You will set the pace. So don't be shy to ask questions and voice your opinions. At college level, I achieved a 100 percent pass rate. I am very dedicated to teaching and learning and nothing will give me greater joy than seeing you steadily improve and enhance your language skills in all aspects. As a team, we can achieve success and have fun doing it.

I encourage the active participation of students to ensure that lessons are a stimulating and valuable learning experience. As a teacher of both second and third languages namely English, Afrikaans and German, dialogues and role plays play an important role in my lessons as it allows students to practise the language . I also utilise comprehension to teach language and grammar in context which encourages students to read and be exposed to grammatical conventions. At all times, i use plain English and encourage students to do the same. My lessons are planned according to the level of the student from beginner (German, third language) to high school and college level (English and Afrikaans). Students can expect a relaxed and happy atmosphere and a valuable learning experience.
