About Rubi
With over five years of tutoring experience, I have worked with students both one-to-one and in groups of up to 10 children, helping them build confidence, improve grades and achieve their academic goals.
My own academic record includes straight A*s at GCSE, ranking 1st out of 250 students in my year group, and achieving four A grades at A-level. I also achieved 126/130 in GCSE English Literature and 100% in one of my GCSE History papers, giving me a strong understanding of what examiners look for and how students can maximise their marks.

My approach begins by identifying the topics the student finds most challenging. I then break concepts down into clear manageable steps, ensuring they develop a genuine exam-level understanding of the material. Together, we work through guided examples and practice questions before students attempt questions independently, with support and feedback whenever needed.
Lessons are typically an hour long but this can be altered according to the person’s needs.
