About Sarah

Hello! My name is Sarah, and I’m a bilingual Korean-Canadian tutor with a passion for helping students learn Korean in a fun, clear, and confidence-building way. I grew up in Canada and recently graduated high school with high honors and a scholarship. I am in Medical Science program at Western University. I also have real teaching experience—I’ve worked at two English academies in Korea, where I taught both elementary and middle school students. This experience helped me develop the patience, communication skills, and lesson planning techniques that now guide my Korean teaching. In my lessons, I focus on: Clear explanations (in English and Korean) Customized learning based on your goals and level Real-life Korean (conversation, listening, grammar, and pronunciation) A kind and encouraging environment where making mistakes is part of learning! I teach online from Canada, and I’m very flexible with scheduling. I also offer a free trial lesson so you can get to know my style before committing. Whether you're learning Korean for travel, school, K-pop, or just for fun—I’d love to help you on your language journey. Let’s learn together in a way that’s both effective and enjoyable!

My Teaching Style Hi! I’m a bilingual Korean-Canadian tutor offering fun and personalized Korean lessons. I focus on helping students build confidence through clear explanations, practical conversation, and step-by-step grammar. I’ve taught students from elementary to middle school and love making lessons engaging and encouraging. Each class is tailored to your level and goals—whether you’re a beginner, learning Korean for travel, or a K-pop fan! A typical lesson includes: Warm-up & review New grammar or vocabulary Practice through speaking, reading, and fun dialogue Recap and optional homework I offer free trial lessons and flexible scheduling. Let’s make Korean fun and stress-free together!
