About Caroline
Hello! My name is Caroline and I am currently a second year history and archaeology student at the University of Reading. My academic career has always been very bright - achieving all A's throughout GCSE & A-Level and am working towards getting a first at University. I have tutored many students in the past and pride myself on being a kind and persistent teacher. I am committed and able to help students improve their academic performance in almost any topic from the subjects I am familiar with, whether this be Kantian deontological theory for philosophy, or periods of history ranging from Ancient Rome & Greece down to the Cold War. I am able to support students during any stage of their academic career, with my knowledge of exam requirements being extensive and up to date. My aim as a tutor is to provide a full understanding of the chosen subject in a precise yet effective way, and to support the pupil in order to ensure academic success.

My teaching methods are based on establishing a deeper understanding of the topic being learned. I am flexible in my structure as a tutor, changing my lesson plans and class routine to suit the needs of whichever student I am working with. I approach learning with a kind nature, it is something in which I am very passionate about and have gotten great joy out of, and so hope to teach in order to impart my love of learning onto the student.
