About Jainam

Hi! I’m a Dentistry student at King’s College London and have recently been through the dental school admissions process myself. I achieved A*A*A at A-level, including an A in Maths, and 2330 Band 1 in the UCAT. Having applied to both medicine and dentistry in the same cycle, I have first-hand experience of both processes

Because my own application experience is recent, I understand what it’s like to balance the UCAT, applications and interview preparation alongside A-levels. I also know how easy it is to become overwhelmed by the huge amount of conflicting admissions advice online.

I’m friendly, patient and easy-going, and I want sessions to be somewhere applicants can ask questions, practise without feeling judged and receive useful, constructive feedback.

Rather than presenting myself as an admissions expert, I want to use my recent experience of successfully navigating the process to help other applicants avoid mistakes, prepare more effectively and approach their applications with greater confidence.

About the lesson

Having recently gone through the Dentistry admissions process myself, I know how overwhelming UCAT preparation, university applications and interviews can feel. My sessions offer one-to-one support for Medicine and Dentistry applicants at any stage of the process.

For the UCAT, I can help with approaches to each section, timing and time management, identifying weaker areas, reviewing mistakes and building an effective preparation strategy.

I can also provide guidance on the wider Medicine and Dentistry application process, including researching universities and understanding how different universities assess applicants.

For interview preparation, we can work through MMI-style stations, ethical scenarios, communication skills, motivation for Medicine or Dentistry and other common themes. I can also run timed mock stations followed by detailed feedback on the content, structure and delivery of your answers.

I don't believe in giving applicants scripted answers to memorise. Instead, I aim to help you understand how to approach unfamiliar questions, explain your reasoning clearly and become more confident under pressure.

Sessions are typically one hour and are completely tailored to what you want to work on, whether you're beginning UCAT preparation or preparing for an upcoming interview.
