About Alastair

My name is Alastair, I am a University student studying history and politics, and passed my A-Levels with 3A*s, also attaining 4 8s and 6 9s at GCSE.

More importantly than that though, in my opinion, is that history has been my favourite subject since I began studying it properly in Year 7, and it is this passion that I will bring into every session!

I believe that the key in improving in a subject is to enjoy it as much as possible, and as a result I will do everything I can to make your sessions as engaging as possible, and build the skills, knowledge and understanding that you will need for your exams, as well as using my recent first-hand experience at A-Level to help you reach your full potential.

About the lesson

I have experience tutoring A-Level students through my secondary school.
I offer tailored sessions, typically one hour long, targeted at the individual needs of students currently studying their GCSEs and A-Levels in history.
I am studying History and Politics at University, and have recently taken my A-Levels, attaining three A*s. As a result, I know first-hand exactly what assistance students require to take their abilities to the next level.
Sessions will be exam focused, building up the skills of analysis and evaluation required for exams as well as helping to build a broad base of specific knowledge.
