About Nate
To learn is to be human. The knowledge we hold can carry us so much farther than we initially realize, opening doors we may not even see or hear. I am here to work with you to not only learn the material but also learn to love learning!
Throughout my academic career, I could never understand why my classmates said they hated school. I loved school. Sure, some parts were (and still are) a struggle to get through, but I've always craved the satisfaction and fulfillment of excelling in a course due to my hard work. Not only that, but I found myself applying the things I learned in my studies to real-life scenarios almost subconsciously! Now that is the beauty of knowledge.
I first got a knack for teaching when I started to teach martial arts. I started as an assistant instructor and then moved up to teaching more specialized classes I was interested in. I had done karate for 13 years, taught for 5, competed for 3, and then school took over. I've learned to instruct groups and individual sessions, teaching the material, techniques and discipline to a fine point. If there is a gap, we will fill it. If there is an edge, we will smooth it out. Given enough time, we can cover every area that you need!
