About Josie

I am an English student studying English and Classics. I studied English (A*), Biology and Chemistry at A Level and no first hand how difficult it is to study and prepare for exams. I also love music, I play guitar and piano, and drama.

About the lesson

I describe my teaching style is as patient, interactive and fun. I encourage my students to have a voice in their sessions, to ask questions when they come up and be curious to find answers. Finding difficulty in certain subjects is common due to confidence issues (I know from my own experience) and my aim is to build my students confidence so that when I’m not there they are equipped with techniques and skills to work through things themselves. I vary my teaching methods and styles depending on the individual as learning is different for everyone.
