About Jack

Why do I teach? When I was studying to become a teacher, I was told about the 'goosebumps' moment. Now, I understand what this means...

The smiles from students as they enter the door, the acknowledgment that a student knows I care about them, the lightbulb moment when a student understands a new concept, etc. I am a people person who loves teaching and witnessing people grow and evolve.

Here's a little more about me as a person:

I regularly enjoy surfing, running, hiking, mountain biking, and snowboarding in my spare time. A daily yoga and meditation practice keeps me grounded; Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and trail running events challenge me. Spending time with my family is important to me, and this usually involves cooking and playing music together.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is customized to cater specifically to your individual needs. Whether you're a student of any age or ability, my one-hour lessons are designed to provide tailored guidance and support. I look forward to playing a part in your learning journey!
