About Anamika

I am a dedicated **Kathak dance teacher with over 8 years of experience** in both performing and teaching this graceful classical art form. Trained in the traditional style, I have completed the Praveen level from Prayagraj Sangeet Samiti, Prayagraj, which has enriched my understanding of Kathak's rhythm, expression, and storytelling. Over the years, I have given numerous stage performances, showcasing the beauty and depth of Kathak through expressive abhinaya, intricate footwork, and powerful storytelling. Currently, I am teaching at a renowned dance school, where I mentor students of various age groups and skill levels. My teaching emphasizes: * Strong foundation in taal, laya, and footwork * Mastery of abhinaya (expression) * Confidence in stage performance * Deep appreciation for the cultural and spiritual roots of Kathak I am passionate about helping students connect with the essence of Kathak while building their confidence, discipline, and joy in dance.

About the lesson

Immerse yourself in the elegance and rhythm of Kathak, one of India’s most renowned classical dance forms. These classes focus on developing grace, expression (abhinaya), footwork (tatkaar), spins (chakkars), and storytelling through dance.

Whether you're a beginner or have prior experience, each session is tailored to your skill level, emphasizing technique, rhythm, and the cultural richness of Kathak.

Students will also learn:

* Basic to advanced **taals and tukras**
* **Mudras** and expressive storytelling
* Stage confidence and performance preparation
Classes are open to all age group
