About Nicole
I am a junior in high school and currently peer tutor freshman and sophomores. I really enjoy teaching and helping people understand. When the information finally clicks and they get a good grade on their test, their smile and excitement make all the early mornings and lunch sessions worth it. As I stated previously, I have a 3.94 unweighted GPA. I have had one B+ all of high school, the rest being A's. Learning new things is one of my favorite things, and being able to share that eagerness with others sweetens the deal.

I usually like to establish the basics, as it's important to have a good foundation before building further knowledge. Depending on the subject, we'll focus on the specific skills and see which ones are established, and which ones need work. I personally like to do analogies with hard-to-grasp subjects, especially chemistry.
I am a peer tutor, which can be helpful when kids have a hard time connecting and talking to someone older. A smaller age gap can make a world of difference, as students feel more comfortable asking for help or going over something further.
I am best fit to tutor Algebra l, Algebra ll, Chemistry, AP World History, and essay writing (specifically outlining and word choices).
