About Galo
I am a journalist with more than 25 years of experience in U.S. Spanish-language news. After working as a correspondent for two of the largest Spanish-language networks, I bring extensive experience covering national and international events, including U.S. presidential elections, major sporting events, conflicts abroad, United Nations summits, papal visits, natural disasters, and immigration. I have reported from multiple key markets: I lived and worked in New York City for eight years, later in Miami—where I currently reside—and in McAllen, Texas, where I served as a border correspondent for Univision. Additionally, as producer of Ecuatorianos en el Mundo, I traveled across five continents and nearly 100 cities documenting immigrant life in remote communities around the world.
