About Lonnie
I’ve been a writer my entire life, beginning with winning a citywide essay contest when I was 9. I’ve covered stories as a reporter all across the US and in India, the Middle East and Latin America. As a foreign editor I ran coverage of war, presidential elections and was the editor of a several prize winning series, including the Pulitzer. As a Professor at Columbia and other universities, I have trained literally hundreds of reporters and editors.
