I am a Journalism student currently achieving firsts at university. I have extensive experience as a freelance writer and copyeditor, as well as having a childcare MVQ that I achieved while working in a school, giving me the teaching experience needed.
I have also successfully taught children to read in the past, as well as tutoring my own younger siblings through their English GCSE's.

I tailor my lessons to the person or group I am teaching. Education isn't a one size fits all system, so I'll customize lesson plans and activities to make sure whoever I'm teaching gets what they need.
My main methodology is 'teaching by doing', guiding students through what they're doing and giving them a hands-on approach, rather than just speaking at them and hoping they understand.
Teaching is a collaborative process, and I will spend each lesson communicating with the student to make sure they understand the content and helping them to achieve their full potential.
