About Felipe

Having spent eight years immersed in the world of guitar education, working with over 300 students, I understand that each individual's relationship with the instrument is a personal one. My teaching is thus centered on a flexible framework that adapts to your current proficiency and the musical genres that captivate you. Whether you're navigating the initial steps of chord progressions, delving into the melodic intricacies of fingerpicking patterns, or tackling the complexities of advanced soloing, I carefully calibrate our lessons to foster continuous improvement, respecting your unique learning pace and musical inclinations. Music theory is presented not as a separate subject but as a practical language that enhances your playing, enabling you to read music and grasp fundamental concepts in a way that directly informs your musical expression. Witnessing your unique musical story unfold is a source of great fulfillment for me, and I am dedicated to providing a supportive and motivating learning environment.

About the lesson

Having spent the last eight years teaching guitar to over 300 students, I've developed a deep appreciation for the unique potential within each individual. My teaching style is adaptable and student-centered, focusing on their specific goals and learning preferences. I believe in establishing a solid foundation in fundamental guitar techniques, including chord changes, scales, and rhythmic accuracy. However, I also understand the importance of making learning enjoyable and relevant by incorporating the music that resonates with each student. Whether their passion lies in the intricate melodies of classical guitar, the raw energy of rock, or the improvisational freedom of jazz, I tailor my lessons accordingly. I also emphasize the development of a strong musical ear, incorporating ear training exercises to enhance their ability to understand and play music by ear. My greatest reward is witnessing the growth of my students, not just as guitarists but as confident and expressive musicians.
