About Harini

I have over a year's experience of tutoring students in Japanese. I passed my N3 in 2019, and have recently returned from Japan, where i was working from March of this year.

The JLPT exams go from levels 5-1, 5 being beginner, and 1 being native level. I received N3 results in the 90th Percentile, meaning that it was in the top 10% in the world.

I enjoy teaching, and am open to questions and enquiries. I am also willing to tailor my classes to student's needs. For example a heavier focus on Business Japanese and etiquette as opposed to University level Japanese and etiquette.

About the lesson

My classes focus on effective communication. While I can and will help you to prepare for the JLPT or other exams, I believe that it is equally important to understand and speak the language.

I also have a few helpful ppts with examples for you to help you revise for your exams. Especially with writing, and this is included in the rate.

I use a mix of notes and texts to teach, and set weekly goals for my students.

This class is suited to beginner and intermediate students of all ages, though I am more familiar with secondary school children and above.
