About Daniel

Hi I'm Daniel, nice to meet you. I'm a professional guitarist, producer and educator in the Brisbane area. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance with Honours, and a valid blue card. I have 10 years of performance experience playing in most styles, and have been teaching guitar for 6 years. I teach guitar privately from my home, travel to my students' homes, and conduct online lessons via Zoom/Skype - whatever is most convenient for my clients. About the lesson

Hi there, My name is Daniel Mahler, and I've been playing guitar professionally for over 10 years in a range of styles from jazz and blues, to rock and pop, country, classical, metal and can cater to any age and any skill level. I obtained a Bachelor of Music in Jazz performance with Honours at the Jazz Music Institute in 2018, and have a strong passion for teaching and helping people on their path to musical fulfillment. I also have experience teaching students with learning difficulties, as well as kids as young as 5 years old. I offer guitar lessons from my home in Wynnum West (Bushing Street), or at your home (within reasonable distance) for a $10 travel fee, or online via Skype/Zoom - whatever location is most convenient for you. I hope to tailor your lesson program individually to your need as everyone has a different life schedule, music goals, and styles of learning. Rates: 30 mins - $35 at my home studio, $45 at your house. 60 mins - $60 at my home studio, $70 at your house. *weekly, fortnightly, or as-needed-basis is available. I can teach you Guitar, Bass, Ukulele, Music Production (only available from my home studio) and Music Theory, or any combination of these things depending on your goals. (I can provide an instrument for you during lessons if you require, but eventually you would need to procure your own one to practice on if lessons are to be worthwhile.) Skills are acquired in 2 parts - the teaching and the learning. I can provide the teaching, but you must do the learning. Talk soon, Cheers! *Valid Blue Card Holder*
