About Jude
My guitar teaching approach is all about helping students build skill, confidence, and their own unique voice on the instrument. I focus on making learning fun, clear, and personal. Every lesson is tailored to your goals—whether you're learning your first chords or working on advanced solos. I teach fingerstyle techniques, lead guitar phrasing, creative composition, and personal expression through music. We’ll break down songs you love, understand how they work, and use them to build strong technique and musical understanding. I include music theory and fretboard knowledge in ways that are simple and practical. My lessons help you play with feeling, not just with speed. For students who love blues, rock, or expressive soloing, I’ll guide you in shaping your tone, bends, vibrato, and timing. Whether you're writing your first riffs or jamming with a band, I’ll help you sound more like you. We’ll also explore rhythm skills, ear training, and improvisation to boost your creativity. I welcome all levels and believe every student has something powerful to say through music.

With over 4 years of experience teaching guitar both in-person and online, I bring a deep passion for music and education to every lesson. I hold a degree in Music Performance with a focus on guitar pedagogy, which grounds my teaching in both academic and practical expertise.
