I teach guitar with an intuitive, song-based approach that blends real-world playing with strong foundational skills. My lessons focus on making music from day one—because learning feels better when it sounds like something you love. Whether you're working on barre chords, rhythm tracking, finger independence, or stylistic techniques in blues, pop, folk, or jazz, I’ll meet you where you are. I adapt to each student’s learning style, helping beginners build fluency and more advanced players refine expression and creativity. We’ll break down songs, analyze structure, and use them as springboards for technique and improvisation. If you’re someone exploring rich chord voicings, expressive soloing, or groove-based comping, you’ll feel right at home in my sessions. I also support players looking to lead with intention—whether it’s playing in a church band, small group ensemble, or on a stage. I’ll guide you through how to serve the song, stay locked into rhythm, and play with presence. Students often leave lessons not only more skilled, but more confident and connected to their sound.

About the lesson

I’m a guitar tutor with 7 years of experience and a Diploma of Music specializing in Guitar. I’ve spent years helping musicians find their voice not just as solo players, but as part of something bigger. My passion lies in ensemble coaching—working with bands, duos, and acoustic jam groups to create something truly tight and expressive.

My teaching method is built around rehearsals. Instead of focusing only on drills, I guide students through real-time playing that sharpens listening skills, groove, and timing. We work on arranging songs together so every instrument has its space and purpose. It’s about building musical chemistry, not just technique.

I’ve seen students go from shy bedroom players to confident performers, rocking out in group settings with smiles on their faces. Nothing beats that moment when everything clicks in a live jam. Whether you play rhythm, lead, or somewhere in between, I tailor sessions to your strengths and goals.
