About Takahiro

・BA in Letters from Kyoto University ・Auditor student in Linguistics at Kanagawa University (2 years) ・Experience of teaching English to teenagers in Japan ・Currently offering Japanese lessons to both adults and children in London ・No worries about your current level! Basically the whole lesson can be conducted in English!

About the lesson

・Choose 1 or more Manga as a textbook you want to enjoy! (Of course we start with basic grammar, but enjoying manga at the same time!) ・Best for those who love manga, anime, or Japanese culture ・Either In-person or Online ・1, 1.5, 2 hours per lesson (whichever you like) ・Over 5 years of teaching experience (English & Japanese)

Perfect! I really enjoyed my lesson with Taka! His English is excellent and he was able to explain all grammar points and vocabulary very clearly. He’s very enthusiastic and attentive, and he made a real effort to understand my goals and interests so the lesson felt personalised and engaging.

Perfect! Takahiro makes a brilliant first impression, he is friendly and passionate and clearly enjoys talking to his students. We used material from games I love to introduce grammar concepts which was highly engaging and interesting. I look forward to more lessons!

He arrived prompt, ready and well-resourced to our lesson. Takahiro structured our meeting with clear objectives, which were laid out in a smooth orderly fashion (e.g., historical background, simple greetings, more complicated phrases).

His calm and supportive nature encouraged us to try out this new language and culture in a safe environment. As an added bonus, he provided recommendations for our trip. He added so much charm and personality into our meeting. It is clear that he is very knowledgeable.

It was so lovely to work with Takahiro. We are so excited to book more lessons with him! We would definitely recommend him to others - 10/10.
