About Ishita

Hello! I am Ishita Goel and I have spent a large chunk of my life living in Japan.

I have studied Japanese for around 8 years and completed Japanese up to the JLPT N5 level. Learning Japanese over many years has helped me understand the challenges beginners face, so I teach in a patient, supportive, and encouraging way.

I enjoy helping students build confidence from the very beginning. My goal is to make Japanese feel approachable by breaking concepts into simple steps and creating a relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I focus on clear explanations, regular practice, and steady progress rather than memorizing large amounts of material at once.

I am organized, reliable, and committed to preparing lessons that suit each student’s goals, whether they are learning Japanese for travel, study, hobbies, or future JLPT preparation. I believe that language learning should be enjoyable, practical, and motivating, and I am happy to support students throughout their Japanese learning journey.

About the lesson

I focus on making Japanese enjoyable and easy to understand for beginners. My lessons combine reading, writing, speaking, and listening practice so students can build confidence step by step. I teach Hiragana, Katakana, basic vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and simple everyday conversation using explanations, exercises, and revision activities.

A typical lesson is 45–60 minutes, depending on the student’s needs. I have studied Japanese for 8 years and have completed Japanese up to the JLPT N5 level. I am organised and patient, and I like creating clear learning plans for each student.

My lessons are mainly for beginners and JLPT N5 students, including school students, university students, and adults who are starting Japanese for travel, study, personal interest, or future JLPT preparation. I adapt the pace and teaching style to each learner so that lessons remain comfortable, supportive, and motivating.
